  I would highly recommend reaching out to Camilo with Laulima Solar for any solar water heater issues. We contacted several solar companies and plumbers when having difficulty with our water heater- most were very difficult to get clear pricing or some did not seem to have expertise in solar (although they advertised as knowledgeable in solar heater issues). Camilo was immediately extremely easy to communicate with, honest and fair in pricing, and took his own personal time to help us troubleshoot some fixes (without any charge).   Camilo recently did the annual solar hot water system maintenance at our house in Makawao. We had let it go for a few years so it was beyond due. He flushed the system, checked if anode rod needed replacement, replaced insulation as needed as well as pressure valves and more. He did a great job and was always professional, personable, thorough and responsive to our communications - a true joy to interact with. We’re really happy to have him now on our list for us to better take care of our system. Thank you Camilo!
