Its one and two star share is 5 points above the typical installer in New Mexico. Across New Mexico, 22 of the 65 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 10 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Called up this business trying to ask about solar services and right away they accused me of being a marketing call and then rudely demanded “Well who are you and what do you want?” I will never deal with a business who does this to a potential customer.

We just went through a total nightmare trying to get our panels off and back on for a new roof, thanks to our original solar company pulling every shady trick in the book: hidden fees, warranty threats, and straight-up ghosting. So we hunted down every installer in town, got burned by pricing tactics and fake reviews, and were this close to losing our minds. LUZ Solar wasn’t even on our short list at first, but OMG, am I glad we found them. From the first call, they were the opposite of sketchy: clear answers, no surprise fees, and a price that didn’t make me choke. Chris, Casey, and Ian showe

Luz Energy installed for us a General Motors Energy system, providing backup power to the property from our EV. While not familiar with this specific product, they installed it in two days and then worked with the manufacturer until everything was working as expected. Chris, the technician leading the installation, was outstanding, very knowledgeable and on task. We highly recommend Luz Energy.

In 2021, I entrusted Luz Energy Solar with installing a solar PV system for my Airbnb. Initially, we were uncertain about the property's electrical demands. Otis showcased professionalism and pride of workmanship by flawlessly installing a 16-panel system on my pitched metal roof. Despite incorporating a hot tub and window A/C units in 2023, my PNM bill consistently zeroes out month after month. Otis and his team demonstrated exceptional timeliness and value, earning them a perfect five-star rating across the board. I couldn't be more satisfied. Ricardo Sanchez Santa Fe

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
