Its one and two star share is 19 points above the typical installer in the Canoga Park area. Across California, 175 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 8 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in the Canoga Park area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. M&S Green Power Energy is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

Amazing turn over time. They finished the work 5 days early and went above and beyond to make my needs were met. I would definitely use them again for my future solar needs.

Very pleased that you were the company that did our roof and solar. After having no knowledge and confidence in solar, i was educated by the great rep Shiran about the benefits of going green and its saving programs. After i met with 3 other companies based in Fresno, this company showed no pressure to sell. I appreciated their desire to educate. it has been several months since the job was done and m electric bill is totally different and my home looks so much better with the new roof. I am very satisfied that this is the company i choose to go with, thank you!

"After researching several solar companies, I decided to choose M&S green power energy for installing solar panel in my house. My first contact with M&S green power energy was with one of the seller that was very helpful and knowledgeable. He was not pushy or salesy at all. The company helped me get my rebate and installed my panels in half a day. I have full confidence in this company and recommend them to everyone I know."

What reviewers keep mentioning

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

Its website also mentions free estimate, insured and licensed, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

    Elsewhere

    • It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
    • It posts on Instagram. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

    Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

    What we don't know

    • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
    • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
    • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
