Its one and two star share is 1 point below the typical installer in Michigan. Across Michigan, 45 of the 84 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 50 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

I replaced my home to solar, and it made a huge impact on my bills. I got incredible guest service from Mona too. I highly recommend!

I recently had Mona Power install solar panels at my house, and overall I’m really happy with how everything turned out. The whole process was pretty smooth, from the first consultation to the final installation. They explained everything in a way that was easy to understand, which helped a lot since I didn’t know much about solar before. The installation team was professional and worked quickly without leaving a mess behind.

I had a really good experience with Mona Power. Liam helped me out a lot and made everything super easy to understand. He was really nice, answered all my questions, and didn’t make anything confusing or stressful. The whole process went smoothly and the installation was quick and looked really clean. I’m really happy with how everything turned out and would definitely recommend them.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Warranty

“come with complete confidence and guaranteed results. That’s why we’re the only…”

Its website also mentions financing, free estimate and 24/7 availability, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • Google also lists this company under electrical.
  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on Instagram. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
