Its one and two star share is 6 points below the typical installer in Tacoma. Across Washington, 61 of the 99 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 20 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Jenny, Derek, and their team are awesome! They worked with me patiently as I decided the scale of my setup. Installation went quickly and smoothly, despite a tight timeline! Communication has been great and they even fixed a panel that arrived defected, no questions asked. So happy to for my home solar! Highly recommend Mount Solar.

Excellent work! Very knowledgeable, efficient, careful, and timely. Because it's a smaller company, you feel more like a person and not a number. And I can't stress this enough: they REALLY know what they're doing.

Derek Domingo and his wife Jennie own Mount Solar & Electric, the contractors who designed and installed our 25-panel (440w) array with 40 kWh battery backup in Fall 2025. During planning, he was unhurried and gave us enough education that we were able to accurately specify the size system that fit our lifestyle and budget. The project was finished on schedule and Derek was reliably available for questions. He is very precise and detailed about all aspects of the project and it shows. Definitely recommend Derek and Jennie for a satisfying experience that netted us a kickass solar power system.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
