Its one and two star share is 3 points above the typical installer in Tacoma. Across Washington, 32 of the 99 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 129 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Every company we hold in Tacoma, on one axis

0% rated 1–2★25%

Each mark is one company we hold in Tacoma whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Infinity Solar USA is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

This is really ridiculous. These people sold us lies . Imagine having 28 panels and still saving nothing. 9 of the panels in the attached picture has shut down without producing energy and we had to pay more to the light company plus their loan, making us pay 3times of what we were paying initially. We called and sent email but they will not come out to fix it.

Door-to-door salesmen will ignore clearly posted "No Soliciting" signs, leave door hangers, and do not carry peddling permits to legally solicit in the city. Annoying marketing tactics and illegal soliciting - Deserves a one-star rating. Consider training your salespeople to respect people's home.

Less than a year after installation of a $35,000 system, 4 solar panel mounting brackets were found on the ground. I inquired Infinity about the possible lack of structural integrity and workmanship defects. They refused to investigate the problem unless I paid for a $250 service call. It just didn't feel like they were concerned about the integrity of their product.

Infinity took care of everything, from getting the loan and permits to installation, inspections, utility hookups, and getting the system running. It all wrapped up in just a couple of months, with only a few minor hiccups. We barely had to do anything because Infinity Solar USA handled it all flawlessly, always communicating professionally and friendly. We're super happy we chose to work with the awesome team at Infinity Solar USA.

Infinity did very nice job of installing the panels, left no sign that they were even here, just a couple minor things that got corrected, have had my panels activated for only a couple of weeks so no real comparison yet but looking at the meter I'm selling a lot more power than I'm buying.

Infinity solar team showed up on time and performed the installation with no mayor issues, left the place in good standing order. Thanks Infinity Solar USA

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Financing

“your property value. Do you offer financing options for solar installation? Yes, Infinity…”

  • Insured

“Infinity Solar USA, we are certified, insured, and trained in the latest solar…”

  • Licensed

“by advanced technology and a team of licensed professionals. We understand that…”

Its website also mentions free estimate, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Yelp and the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.

Something wrong here? Tell us and a person will read it.
