Its one and two star share is 4 points below the typical installer in Tacoma. Across Washington, 54 of the 99 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 21 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in Tacoma whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. SolShine Solar Panel Cleaning is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

Joe does such a great job and I love the fact that he’s using deionized water and we have no streaks or spots when he leaves. He’s very very thorough and is pretty flexible too… When he got here, I asked him if he could do another couple of big weird sized windows in our house, and he did not hesitate… Got it all done with a smile. We have had him out here to our house, which is a big A-frame covered with solar panels and we have about eight skylights… And he’s done a great job each time.

I recently hired Sol Shine Clean to clean the solar panels at my home, and the entire experience exceeded my expectations from start to finish. The quality of the work was exceptional. The team arrived on time, was professional and courteous, and treated my property with great care. After the cleaning was completed, my solar panels looked brand new, and I have complete confidence that they are now operating at peak efficiency. What truly impressed me was the level of customer service provided by General Manager Joe Lenzen. Joe's communication, follow-up, and commitment to customer satisfaction

Joe just finished cleaning my solar panel, the shine off of them is brighter than when they were new! Joe did an outstanding job and is very meticulous. He showed up on time and cleaned up after he was finished. I would recommend Sloshing Solar Panel Cleaning.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

Its website also mentions warranty and free estimate, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

    Elsewhere

    • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau and Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

    What we don't know

    • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
    • Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Tacoma is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
    • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
    • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
