  ABSOLUTELY DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! They are tanking fast! Read BBB complaints (F ranking), Google reviews, newspaper article from Mar of 2022... its not good. Sadly we are in the middle of an install,thousands of dollars out of pocket and they've stopped responding! Run from their sales people. It's bad. Update... its now end of Sept and we are still not up and running. But the excuses and placing blame on others continue! 4 mo beyond planned start up, missed the entire summer of solar energy from panels that are paid for!

  Worst experience anyone could ever have! DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! When we fist started talking to them and we signed the contract everything was great, people responded to us and made sure we were good to go for the installation. We waited a few months for the installation to happen and once it finally did everything went completely wrong. The installation crew showed up at our house in a regular white van, no markings from Moxie, no uniforms or shirts, nothing and on top of all of that, no safety gear no harnesses, absolutely nothing for going up on the ladders.   this is my fifth update on this review of this company. I would not recommend this company one bit. Took forever for the installation process. They outsourced to work for the installation and now I'm having a billing problem because apparently they haven't paid the installers. Lots of poor communication. The only thing I can say is there an electrician that is local in Dixon in my area is good other than that a total mess of a company. Stay away from this solar company do not purchase from them.

  Negative: Moxie was difficult to work with and completely unresponsive. After our project was started the disappeared from all contact for over a year. Phone calls and emails were unanswered and we were left paying bills for solar that wasn't connected or working. Positive: We eventually got connected to their electrician, Rick, who was very professional and went above and beyond to get thing completed correctly.

  Like everyone else here, my initial install had some hiccups and it took Moxie between 4-5 months to get my system up and running, but now it has totally stopped working. Calls to their various lines go right to voice mail and I have not received a call back for service and I expect that I might not given what I have read. If I do not receive a call and some attempt at service from them, I will have my lawyer start with contact to them. I can see an excuse for not having parts for an install, but their is no excuse for not contacting customers for service an standing behind your product. I fee

  Had another solar company stop mid process on our solar project for our home, and Moxie took over with great communication on updates every step of the way. Not only that, the individuals who came from Moxie and continued on the hardware and wiring were extremely helpful, informative, and kind.

  Sales and install in 2020 was smooth and everyone I worked with was great. In Aug 2022 we had a service issue and after speaking to James who sent Rick and Mike out to inspect, they found and fixed the issue. We were down about a week. I know COVID and then supply chain issues have caused solar companies some major problems but I hope Moxie can pull through because they’ve been a good company to work with as far as I’m concerned.
