Its one and two star share is 6 points below the typical installer in the Los Lunas area. Across New Mexico, 23 of the 65 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 44 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Ordered by the share of one and two star reviews, weighted by how many reviews stand behind it. It ranks review records, not workmanship.

Every company we hold in the Los Lunas area, on one axis

0% rated 1–2★100%

Each mark is one company we hold in the Los Lunas area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Nexus Energy Systems is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

Door to door salesperson ignored our no soliciting signs and then tried gaslighting us about it. Don't do business with someone like this.

REPLY TO OWNER: REPLY TO OWNER: Chris, no we are done with Nexus/Sunternal. We, again, waited for months for your reply, the appointment in April was never confirmed, and your employee on the phone was rude to me. We do not want your company to work INSIDE our house, too, because we are afraid that you mess up the inside of our house as you messed up our roof. Your “specialist” confirmed that our roof would be “JUST FINE” and had NO concerns to put solar panels on it. And as you know, it is not “very, very old” and we were NOT “happy” that you had to come back 14!!!!! times to STILL NOT fix ou

What a sham company. Business license revoked in 2019. Had to re-incorporate as an LLC in NM. Has a dodgy sales entity attached to them called Sunternal with slimy salesmen like Patrick Digiacomo targeting low income neighborhoods and young families. The end user support from Enphase has been the only bright spot in this experience.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on Instagram and LinkedIn. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
