Its one and two star share is 3 points below the typical installer in the Los Lunas area. Across New Mexico, 19 of the 65 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 34 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

On the New Mexico ranking

Ordered by the share of one and two star reviews, weighted by how many reviews stand behind it. It ranks review records, not workmanship.

Every company we hold in the Los Lunas area, on one axis

0% rated 1–2★100%

Each mark is one company we hold in the Los Lunas area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Sunternal is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

Get this. Not only is Sunternal staffed with a bunch of conniving skeezy salesmen they don’t even have a business license in New Mexico. They are also not BBB accredited. Please avoid doing business with theses folks.

If I could I would rate them a zero. Supposedly u don't have to pay an eltric bill again. Wring! Still have to pay that 10% to be on the grid. Also if u work for them but then quit, and u make a sale. You don't get paid for it. What a shame

If I could rate this company a zero star I definitely would! The canvasser that came by my home was very rude an unprofessional.. calling names and talking under his breath on my property is a no. Neighbors in our El Paso area have been threatened by this company.

I was looking into multiple solar panel companies for information. When I came across Sunternal . I sat down with Charles and he was extremely informative and provided all the information I need to convert to solar. Would highly recommend Sunternal.

Patrick digiacomo was amazing and he answers every answer I had for him and he was fantastic at explaining everything when I couldn’t understand. I looked into multiple companies and this one definitely knows what they’re doing. Definitely recommending my friends to get that referral bonus.

I went solar with Sunternal and couldn't be happier. Our energy consultant, Donny, did a great job explaining all the ways we could benefit from going solar and made the whole experience absolutely amazing. Highly recommend this fantastic company to anyone and everyone going solar

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Yelp and the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
