Its one and two star share is 10 points below the typical installer in Lansing. Across Michigan, 49 of the 84 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 51 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

When my original solar installer declared bankruptcy after installing my panels--but before inspection and permission to operate from the utility--I rushed to find another installer who could complete the job. NovaTerra stepped in admirably, providing timely and cost-effective service to fill the gap left by my initial installer. Mike (the owner) and especially Ben Fuhs, my point of contact, were both incredibly helpful and so pleasant to work with. My future plans are to add an EV, and NovaTerra will be my first call when I need to add more panels to support the increase in electricity usage.

Nova Terra provided a top-notch solar installation experience from start to finish. Communication was excellent throughout the entire process, and they kept us informed at every stage—from the initial quote to city planning approval, inspections, and final utility authorization. Their coordination with our roofing contractor was smooth and efficient, which helped the project move forward without delays. Mike, in particular, went above and beyond by returning after the initial installation to modify the flat-roof ballast system so the system is completely hidden from street view. Nova Terra als

I am super happy with my solar panels that I had installed through NovaTerra. Unfortunately, Consumers was incredibily frustrating to deal with and caused us months of delays. Jake, Mike, Cari, and the installation team were fantastic to work with, and resolved all the issues we faced with Consumers. I chose to go with ground mount so that the panels would not have to be taken off the roof in a couple of years when it's time for a new roof, and it has made it much easier to clear the snow of the panels. They were great to work with!

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
