Its one and two star share is 1 point below the typical installer in Massachusetts. Across Massachusetts, 102 of the 198 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 82 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

What reviewers said

Absolutely terrible, ongoing experience. Their installers ignored a bad install where the panels were cracked by the installer using too much torque, and that installer just ignored it. They only sent out another guy to fix it after when I noticed and brought it up by chance. They would never have noticed it if I hadn't brought it up, and I shouldn't have had to do that for quality service. The representative is very hard to get ahold of and gives noncommittal answers and tons of excuses when I ask when he will be out to fix issues. I dread having to reach out because it's always like pulling

Old Glory Solar has done a very good looking installation, and he monitoring of the production was amazing! Super recommended. The Solar rep, Ricardo, was very helpful and responsive during the whole process and after!

Old Glory Solar has done a beautiful job, solar panels are working and producing better than expected. The app to see production is easy and very useful. My feeling is that I really have the control of my energy. Ricardo, the Solar rep, guide us from the beginning to the end and has being very helpful helping to do the insulation in the house and energy efficiency measures

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Financing

“and offer competitive pricing and financing options to fit your bussinesses needs. Solar…”

Its website also mentions years in business, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
