Its one and two star share is 33 points above the typical installer in Wisconsin. Across Wisconsin, 2 of the 58 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 3 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in Wisconsin whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Olson Solar Energy is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

I'm very pleased with the solar panels that were installed by Olson Solar Energy in 2023. They provided me with 3 options for the quantity of panels I could install and the proposals they provided outlined the amount of energy each option would produce. I've got to say that the Enphase software they provide that monitors both the quantity of power produced by the solar panels as well as the amount of power used at my home, does verify that the quantity of power produced is right in line with the energy amounts they showed would be produced in their proposal. Based on the power being produced b

Every interaction I had with Olson Solar was exceptional, from initial phone call, to the service team (amazing group of people, answered all questions competently and thoroughly!),to the guys actually placing the solar panels on the roof. Highly recommend reaching out to this company if you're even considering getting solar panels.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Who Google shows alongside them

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
