Its one and two star share is level with the typical installer in Vermont. Across Vermont, 14 of the 28 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 5 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Every company we hold in Vermont, on one axis

0% rated 1–2★45%

Each mark is one company we hold in Vermont whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Owen Ladd Solar is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

What reviewers said

Great guys work for sunrun! Owen was always happy to answer any questions I had. He was very patient with me and explained everything clearly so I could understand I highly recommend him!

  • 5★ · around August 2023

From the first knock on my door, Owen was professional and made us feel like we were his only customer. There was an IT issue getting our solar production data into the Sunrun app. Owen kept in touch with us through the time it took the IT folks to get us online. Going solar with Sunrun was a no-brainer. Lease payments are $40 less than our average monthly GMP bill and that’s before any net metering credits. Good for us, good for the environment, good for Vermont’s renewable energy goals and good for Sunrun.

Owen is very professional amd very responsive. Answers questions in a reasonable amount of time. Everything went according to what he said. Would strongly recommend working with Owen!!

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. South Burlington is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
