Its one and two star share is level with the typical installer in the Roseville area. Across California, 788 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 25 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in the Roseville area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Placer Solar Solutions, Inc. is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

What reviewers said

Thank you for the recent service on my system battery. I initially called Josh for help when the battery became unresponsive, and we scheduled two appointments. I want to commend Jake, who was great and successfully fixed the system to my satisfaction. My only feedback is regarding the cost, as the service was quite expensive. I wish Placer Solar offered more affordable options to resolve similar issues remotely in the future.

Did an amazing job. My solar panels are now working better than ever. Wonderful crew.

FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY, after the SunPower bankruptcy, I found where (at least some of) the laid off SunPower knowledge went! Jacob knew his way around my rather complicated SunVault home battery system, and his contacts with the SunStrong people really helped too. After some delay in waiting for updated parts, he deftly installed and re-commissioned the system to where it's running even better than new. THANK YOU PLACER SOLAR - you should be #1 on every SunPower owner's list.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Years in business

“of Placer Solar Solutions. With over 20 years of experience in the solar industry,…”

Its website also mentions licence number, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
