The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 26 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Most recently (like since December 2025) we have been totally unable to contact them No response to email, phone calls, or requests via the website. Is there a way to confirm that they are still in business ?

Do not use. Had solar installed five years ago. It's now the third time my system has failed to work properly. Company seams to have abandoned residential solar. Customer support is non existent. Can’t get people to return emails and if they do they want $900 to do a system check. Electric bills went from zero a month to several hundred. Terrible investment. Avoid them.

I purchased a system about a year ago and have had Mixed interactions with this company. The product was good, a little pricey but good. the installation was mediocre at best. the system is not flat and has some variation in is pitch cause of the mounting system used. The system does not produce as much as suggested by the sales person and the company has not reached out at any point to check in on the system despite me raising a few concerns about how the monitoring system is not operating correctly. I had to pester them to come and do a minor repair regarding the electrical. I also have hand

We had a great experience working with this solar panel company. Tim and his team were professional, knowledgeable, and very easy to work with from start to finish. They took the time to clearly explain the process, answered all of our questions, and ensured everything was completed efficiently and on schedule.

The good: We had a solar system installed a little over 2 years ago. Initially, we had issues with the reporting of production/consumption not working and Prospect went above and beyond to ensure that was fixed (determined to be a faulty box which was swapped out for a new one free of charge). More recently, we found some mildew in a bathroom which is under a bank of panels. Prospect came out and we diligently inspected the area finding no leaks. They went so far as to check the entire roof for us for leaks to make sure it was not an issue unrelated but we found no signs of moisture or mold in

Huge thanks to Wyatt, Jackie, and the rest of the Prospect Solar team! I couldn’t be happier with the service you've provided getting my family’s new home solar system installed and functioning. I am OBSESSED with checking our energy production on my SunPower app. For anyone looking to go solar in Virginia, I would recommend these guys 10 times out of 10. They are expert, available, friendly, local, trustworthy, and responsive - everything I was looking for in a solar energy partner!

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
