    Having completely remodeled my house over the past 2 years and going through hundreds of quotes from various contractors, I've gotta say this company had the single shadiest sales process that I've ever seen. Bobby knocked on my door one day, and later came back with his supervisor Harpreet to try to sell me some solar panels. Harpreet did most of the talking. Some interesting points regarding this interaction: - They did not arrive at the agreed upon time (in fact, they came on the wrong day) - Created a false sense of urgency that I needed to act quickly, citing some recent legislation - Tri

    For anyone thinking about installing solar panels, please don't even consider Better Heart. They are a complete scam. Two years ago, I had solar panels installed by this company, and they also replaced my roof. Initially, they told me they would install 14 panels, but in the end, they only installed 13, claiming that was enough for my needs. Of course, as expected, they don't provide enough energy. At the end of the year, I have a bill for up to $1,000 in the PGE (presumably referring to a specific utility company). And the roof? Don't even get me started. It leaks every time it rains. I conta

    UPDATE (Oct/2023): After I filed the original review (below) in August, Nick from their escalations team reached out to speed up the process. In the next few weeks, they fixed the spacing issue with the panel mounts, installed the ground rods, fixed the city permit, got the city to re-inspect for the 3rd time, had PGE activate the system, and sent me a check for the delay per their installation guarantee. I am updating my review from 1-star to 3-star and wish this had been the post-installation experience without having to escalate. ORIGINAL (Aug/2023): Signed 8 solar panel contract in Jan 202

    Hunter and the Better Earth team did a fantastic job of a partial re-roof and solar installation in record time. I had to delay the project by a year because of the economic uncertainty of layoffs last year, but Hunter picked things right up, answered all of my questions and managed the project from end to end with great communication. Props to the roofing company and solar installation team who were extremely careful with our vaulted ceilings. We are currently waiting for city inspections - will post an update after the system gets turned on.

    5 stars for agent Sam, installers Gabe, Irving and the other installers. They are fantastic. They were on top of things, got the job done quickly, and things went very smoothly. I adored working with them! Sam is the best agent-he is reliable and checks in on things! Hands down, I give the guys 5 stars! On the other hand, l am sad that I am still waiting on getting the system up and running. Wish the company could get this resolved for my family so I don't have to call every month. Getting this part resolved is quite the hassle.

    I worked with Qaseem and he has been incredible to work with. The panels were just installed a couple of days ago so it’s too early for me to review the entire experience, but I feel with Qaseem it will go well. Qaseem and his team has gone above and beyond during the entire process!
