Company was great until they weren't. I spoke with the company in early 2019 and started the process of purchasing a solar system to go on the hillside of my property. We ran into some problems and plans changed and they installed the solar panels on my roof. 24 panels paid in cash and gave them a great testimonial. In December 2023 I noticed a leak in my master bedroom, but it was minor and just put tar on it to hold into spring. On March 28, 2024, i sent an email to the company in regard to this leak in the location where the solar panels were installed, no reply back. The patch held for the

Company was great a first, install was easy with minor issues with getting the complete information. Several years after install, customer service sucks and in my opinion rude and condescending. With long waits to even get a tech to call and schedule a service check.

This company was an absolute nightmare from the beginning. Everything they told me was lies. They said the number of panels I got would cover what I was currently using and plenty more since I was planning on starting a family (was living alone at the time). The panels BARELY put a dent in my bill!! The installers were absolutely unprofessional. They showed up at my house unexpectedly and helped themselves into my backyard, not cool when I am a woman living alone and see a stange man creeping around in my backyard! Panels were offline for months and smud came out and notified me of a problem n

Update: I'll never get the 10 months of back and forth hassle back. Or the last 9 years of lost solar production from the 2 panels that started failing 3 months after their initial install. They became more active once I started calling their CEO's number. They've since addressed the broken panels in a month. They installed solar panels on my house in 2015. 2 out of 12 panel lasted exactly 3 months and haven't subsequently produced anything in the last 9 years. They wanted me to pay full price to transfer ownership from the previous owner before looking at repairs. It took 10 months of nightma

One of our 12-year old micro-inverters was no longer working. I called Hi Definition Solar who installed the system in 2014, and they explained that this was their busy season, but would send someone out asap. One of their techs was in the area and came by to install the new micro-inverter. After 3 days, It wasn't reporting production so I called Hi Def back and they took care of it that day. I got a call from the technician and the inside manager a total of 4 times to make sure it was taken care of and working. I'm very happy with their customer service and follow-through. They totally replac

Super effort to install my job on the scheduled day. The crew arrived at exactly 8:oo AM as promised and were completely finished at 2:00 pm. Everything worked! The crew was very professional. I aam impressed and I highly recommend this company to anyone thinking of installing solar. Ray Martin0

High Definition Solar installed our solar panels in 2012. We had great service and no problems throughout the years. Recently we had a roof tile break underneath one of our panels and leak into our attic, closet and bathroom. I called High Definition Solar and was told that they only installed full roofs. They could remove the panels and put them back up, but they did not repair roofs. The roofing companies I called said that I would need to arrange to have the solar panels removed before they would do the repairs. So, a few days later I called High Definition back to find out the process and

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.
What we don't know
- The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
- We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
- We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
- We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
