Its one and two star share is 7 points below the typical installer in the Concord area. Across California, 605 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 28 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in the Concord area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Del Sol Energy is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

Horrible customer service experience. My husband and I have called this company 3 times to get a quote & no one has bothered to call back. The lady I spoke to the last time I called said that someone from the “management team” was going to contact us right away- it’s been over two days and still nothing. Seems like they are not interested in new business.

Don’t do business with this company. They installed solar panels in 5 homes built in Danville CA. It has been one year since we moved in and they have not given any homeowner access to the solar panel data. Pge told us they the are not …

Extremely unreliable company. They started the ground mount installation on June 8, 2023 and promised to complete their work in about one week, long before the PG&E visit in 3 weeks. They installed the panels, collected a check, work for few more days and they have not showed up for work for over 4 weeks. They left open trenches, one EV charger disconnected, tools and packages all over the side yard etc. I had to get my gardeners to fix the irrigation lines they have damaged while trenching. After few days of no show, I was able to talk to Josh (after many attempts) and he promised to call me

I had an Enphase EV charger installed and integrated into my Enphase system. It turned out to be more difficult than expected. Kyle did an excellent job figuring out how to solve the problem. It involved some difficult troubleshooting, and he needed help from a couple more guys. Del Sol did a great job, and everyone was very nice. Highly recommended!

Great company to deal with... I had a smaller solar system that was installed in 2013 by the previous homeowner and it was too small for my needs. I had contacted several solar companies and no one would touch it, all wanted to sell me a …

These guys were great! They came out and quickly identified and repaired my system and got it back in service!

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • 24/7 availability

“parts means minimal maintenance. 24/7 Online Monitoring See how much energy…”
  • Insured

“our installation teams are fully insured, employees of the company. This…”

Its website also mentions free estimate and licence number, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.

Something wrong here? Tell us and a person will read it.
