  We had them replace solar panel brackets that failed for the 2nd time. We were quoted 1 to 2 hours labor at $125 per hour. Today Kevin called to say the charge was $500 because there were 2 guys, each $125 per hour, for 2 hours. They were there for 1.5 hrs and they did not inform us that we would be charged for 2 guys. I have bills to pay! Charged double to fix brackets that continue to fail! I have plans to buy more panels and off grid equipment. It won't be from them!

  Quality parts here and some of them are priced well, but problematic service. We had a camper upgraded with a battleborn battery, but the service techs got the wiring backwards. After leaving it with them for a couple days, everything looked good, but later, the charging system triggered errors in our truck electrical systems. Had to bring it back for another round of troubleshooting and repairs. After this, the system worked for about 2 months before having issues again at the end of the season, completely dying in spite of solar input and a alternator charging from our truck.   Very poor follow-up service. They provided an inverter that had the incorrect firmware. This caused power surges and killed some of my electronic devices. They will not advise on settings without charging me. Spent over $7k with them. No long term investment in their customers. Caution.

  My RV batteries were dead after sitting for a few months. I went in to Renewable Energy Systems, and they helped me check if the batteries were salvageable or bricked, and when we determined they were bricked, they sorted me out with new batteries and even helped me install the new ones. They also were able to take the old ones for recycling. Great people, great service! 100% recommend!

  We recently had a PowerShield backup system installed in our home. We had a good experience with RES from start to finish from easy to understand explanations of the system to onsite inspection and installation. We now ready for a generator free power outage.
