Its one and two star share is level with the typical installer in the Anchorage area. Across Alaska, 8 of the 15 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 22 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in the Anchorage area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Renewable Energy Systems is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

I had them do an install for some electrical, after they did the job I found out that they overcharged me by almost double, and when the electrician came out he made sexual comments about me when him and his coworker were outside working, to bad I can’t give less than 1 star, cause I would.

My husband and I recently had Renewable Energy Systems in Wasilla install solar on our motorhome. Melissa was great to work with. She was knowledgeable in suggesting a system that would meet our needs. Melissa walked us through the installation process, answering all of our questions and concerns. We went with the lithium batteries as they can hold more of a charge. As mainly boondockers in Alaska our new solar system has exceeded my expectations. I can run our microwave, use my blowdryer and on the cold mornings, plug in my small electric blanket all on solar power, no generator! My favorite

The electricians and coordinator were very polite, professional and skilled. I will certainly contact them again when we expand our solar footprint. I do recommend having a written outline for the installers when they arrive on site. A+

Phenomenal company! I worked with RES over a period of two months to get the electrical system in the cabin my husband and I had just moved into back to working reliably. Neither of us knew what we needed and only understood the basics of what we had. Melissa, RJ, and co went miles above and beyond what I had even optimistically hoped for in order to understand our current system and needs. They invariably operated in our best interest, giving advice about how to work with our current equipment first then walked us through what the most effective use of our money when it became clear our equip

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.

Something wrong here? Tell us and a person will read it.
