They have lousy phone service and will hang up on you.

Our house in Altadena burned in the Eaton Fire January 2025, along with our solar charging system, which was very important to us. Gotta do the right things for this planet. After 8 months in an apartment, we were able to buy a house in northwest Pasadena, but there was very limited time to add solar to the new house before the federal tax incentives were withdrawn. This was a very busy time for solar installers, and Jim Jenal was able to squeeze us into the schedule, and despite the heavy rains, they got the job done. I was glad to have the job done by a local company. The City of Pasadena wa

I did a lot of research before selecting RUN ON SUN for my solar needs and I am very pleased with the decision. At every step of the process, I was informed of what to expect. Installers arrived on time, were courteous and unobtrusive. All installation promises were met and exceeded. I would absolutely recommend this company for anyone considering Solar for their energy needs.

Run on Sun recently completed my solar installation. They are a well managed professional company. I was very happy with the work, the communication and the final solar installation. It was a seamless process and it was completed in sufficient time for me to take advantage of the expiring solar tax credit.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

• Licensed

“in 2010, and is a C-10 licensed electrician with nearly 30 years of…”

Its website also mentions established and licence number, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

• It is also reviewed on Angi and Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
• It posts on LinkedIn, X and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

• —The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
• —Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Pasadena is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
• —We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
• —We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
