Its one and two star share is 1 point below the typical installer in California. Across California, 788 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 7 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

SafeHome.Solar absolutely crushed it! From start to start, their team was professional, knowledgeable, and left our place spotless. They not only installed our solar system with precision but also went above and beyond to fix some pre-existing electrical issues we hadn’t gotten around to addressing yet. What really stood out was their thorough explanation of the different technology options available - they took the time to break down the pros and cons of each, ensuring we chose the best fit for our home and budget. They also future-proofed our system, incorporating equipment that'll accommoda

My experience with Jason from SafeHome Solar was exceptional. His knowledge and dedication to customer satisfaction were truly remarkable. He efficiently commissioned my system, and when an issue arose, he collaborated tirelessly with the manufacturer's support team to troubleshoot and resolve it. Furthermore, he provided invaluable consultation regarding my solar needs and gave honest feedback on the most suitable features and options for my specific needs.

A key component of our solar panel system stopped working a few weeks ago, and we called Jason at SafeHome Solar after getting an outrageous bid to replace the part from another solar technician. Jason sent over his expert Blaise, who diagnosed the problem in a few minutes, made a minor adjustment, and the system works again. We were charged a nominal fee for the visit and saved thousands. I highly recommend SafeHome Solar.

  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on LinkedIn, X, Instagram and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Pasadena is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
