Its one and two star share is 3 points above the typical installer in the Providence area. Across Rhode Island, 13 of the 33 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 27 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Met with Conor at my property to get an estimate. Long story short after the visit, absolutely nothing happened. So this was a complete waste of time and it seems Sol Power is either too busy to reach out to potential customers or they have no respect for anyone's time. I called, emailed, messaged them via their website and received no response. When I was able to get through to someone, I got the old "Perhaps Conor's email went to your spam folder". This is 2025, if a company wants business they will do what it takes to reach out to the customer, not the other way around. These excuses of spa

Sol Power initially quoted an estimate of $250/panel to remove and reinstall solar panels so that I could get my roof replaced, but when I received the contract it was at an hourly rate with no time or cost estimate. I was uncomfortable …

Sol Power is simply unethical and should be avoided. They said one price but then wanted 60% more. They were not at all timely. A solar system can be a great improvement to one’s house but be sure to work with an honest and ethical contractor. Sol Power is not an honest and ethical contractor. Edit: This contractor is such a slime ball claiming they removed the panels "on schedule"; they actually refused to schedule the job. We started working with them in July. At one point they said they could do it August 4, nope. Then they offered August 19, nope again. They finally came out to do the work

From start to finish… professional, knowledgeable, efficient, considerate and all around a GREAT experience! Amazing crew starting with Conor MacManus, Todd Riley, Bob Anderson and the muscle men that put it all together. Could not be more pleased! Thank you for a wonderful experience. Best of luck.😎🤗

Our experience with SolPower has been totally positive and we now have a beautiful 16-panel solar array on our roof. Their price was very competitive with other companies and everything was presented clearly. The installation was done in one day and everything looks perfect. 18 days later, the City of Warwick and Rhode Island Energy have given the necessary final inspection/approval and it’s up and running! Part of the reason we chose SolPower is because they are completely employee-owned which we find a major plus. We highly recommend SolPower.

Sol Power followed through on everything they stated they would do. Installation was performed in a neat and workman like manner. I would use them again for any future solar work on our home.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Financing

“technical options as well as financing options, took care of all the paperwork,…”
  • Established

“service for our customers since 2013. Whenever you need us, we're here for…”

Its website also mentions free estimate, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
