Its one and two star share is 4 points below the typical installer in the Naperville area. Across Illinois, 104 of the 183 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 8 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in the Naperville area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Solar by Dave Stanton is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

After several power outages, David was able to help me qualify for solar plus a battery for backup power. I was paying around $180 a month to ComEd. Now, instead of paying that $180 to ComEd, my total monthly payment for my power is about $95, and I also have backup Tesla power for my home. David was very knowledgeable and a straight shooter.

We recently transitioned to solar and Tesla Powerwalls, and we couldn't be happier with the results. Beyond immediate savings and the peace of mind knowing our home and EVs are protected during outages, the standout part was Dave Stanton! He was incredibly proactive, providing constant updates and clear communication throughout the entire process. He took the time to educate us on the technology, guiding us through every step and ensuring we felt confident in our investment. Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
