Its one and two star share is 1 point above the typical installer in San Antonio. Across Texas, 336 of the 728 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 30 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

I requested an inverter be delivered because mine didn’t work. Solar Edge received the inverter and notified me. After I notified them I was going to use another company to install because they quoted me $892 for the job, they sent the inverter back and told me I needed to order it myself. I have no idea how. They did this because I didn’t choose to pay their overpriced quote. Each day I don’t fix my inverter I lose $$, and I told them that. They ignored me and I’m still without my solar panels not working despite numerous calls to Solar Edge. They will blow you off unless you agree to pay the

Our original solar company went out of business and we were having issues with our solar panels. Leti at Solar Edge Pros helped us get our panels back online and kept us informed about the process and cost every step of the way. The gentlemen that came out to do the work were professional and courteous.

I'm giving Solar Edge Pro 4 stars primarily because of Alfredo (Customer Support) and Jimmy (Technician). After my original installer, Longhorn Solar, went out of business, SolarEdge referred me to Solar Edge Pro when my system stopped working. Unfortunately, it took nearly a week to transfer my account and schedule service. The biggest frustration was being told a technician would arrive one afternoon, only for me to wait all day before receiving a call saying no one was coming and that there was no estimated reschedule date. That was especially disappointing after I had already paid $614.84

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Licensed

“Furthermore, our NABCEP-licensed engineer inspects every roof before…”

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Yelp and the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on Pinterest, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
