Its one and two star share is 3 points below the typical installer in Riverside. Across California, 788 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 24 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Every company we hold in Riverside, on one axis

0% rated 1–2★40%

Each mark is one company we hold in Riverside whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Solar Pool Services, Inc. is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

Had two visits to try and fix my solar Heating panels first one they fixed some things and then they had to replace a panel on the second visit. The price was exactly what they said there was no surprises. Very happy with the work also Replaced a large valve. I will use them for all my Solar Pool needs fast as well. Nice people.

I contacted Solar Pool Services and the next day they came out and repaired 2 leaking panels and a bad sensor. Jesse was friendly and very professional. He was on time, found and explained the problems, and he and the other technician promptly repaired them. The price was fair and the service was great, so I will definitely call this company in the future if any other problems develop.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Established

“(951) 276-8286 Working with the sun since 1981 Actually enjoy your pool. Without the…”

Its website also mentions warranty, free estimate, bonded, insured, licensed and licence number, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
