Its one and two star share is level with the typical installer in Menifee. Across California, 788 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 46 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Every company we hold in Menifee, on one axis

0% rated 1–2★15%

Each mark is one company we hold in Menifee whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Solar Shine Inc is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

What reviewers said

I had found other companies that were cheaper, but I went with this company based on the reviews. I think they did the work well, as far as the photos that were provided, but the biggest miss was the mess they left. I was told customers typically have to ask for them to clean up the debris that’s left from their work. It took me about an hour to clean up the backyard with all the droppings that were left and I still need to pick up the mess in front yard.

Excellent solar panel cleaning service! The team was professional, friendly, and arrived right on time. They did a very thorough job and left the panels looking spotless. I really appreciated the attention to detail and the great communication throughout the service. The difference before and after the cleaning was impressive. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for reliable and professional solar panel cleaning. I’ll definitely use them again!

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Warranty

“panel backing. One visit, lifetime Warranty Installed once, inspected on your…”

  • Family owned

“not a franchise. Solar Shine Inc, is family owned and based right here in Menifee. We…”

Its website also mentions free estimate, insured, licensed and licence number, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on TikTok, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Menifee is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
