Its one and two star share is 10 points above the typical installer in the Menifee area. Across California, 424 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 10 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

I had gotten 2 solar systems (30+ panels) in total across 2 properties, and had issues with both installs. On the first instance, our driveway was damaged by the delivery truck of the panels/batteries, and they installed a dead battery onto our home, and it took several weeks for it to get replaced (not necessarily their fault). The second location's install was much worse. The whole process from start to finish took almost 5 months, and received MINIMAL support from this company. Our sales rep, Mike, at one point just stopped responding to me and abandoned communications, so I had to ask for

Working with PCG has been amazing. The crews are top class, the work is done right and I’ve never had happier reps or clients! 100% recommend for both sales and installs. Honest family ran business that’s puts quality first and does so at top notch speed!

This company was great. They arrived on time and gave me a free estimate of materials and labor cost needed to run electrical for a new Jacuzzi I had just purchased. The job was completed in a day, no mess, and they walked me through how to operate the shut off valve. I was very impressed by their professional and personal demeanor, I felt perfectly comfortable as a customer with no clue as to what was needed to completed this set up. I will use them again in the future. Thank you Pacific Coast!

Pacific Coast Generation did an outstanding job with our solar installation. The entire process—from system design to installation—was handled professionally and with a lot of attention to detail. The system has been performing great, and it’s clear the team takes pride in doing things the right way. I especially want to recognize Jerrod Paulson, our sales representative. Jerrod was fantastic throughout the entire process. He made sure everything went smoothly, stayed on top of details, and followed through whenever questions or issues came up. It’s rare to work with someone who is so responsi

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Financing

“& San Diego Counties. Zero-down financing available, own your power from day one. Get…”
  • Years in business

“so you actually see the savings. With over 17 years of industry experience, our crew…”
  • Bonded

“can trust Our team is fully licensed, bonded and insured, and holds certifications…”

Its website also mentions warranty, free estimate, family owned, established, insured and licensed, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • Google also lists this company under electrical.
  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on Facebook and Instagram. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
