Its one and two star share is 6 points above the typical installer in the Boulder City area. Across Nevada, 24 of the 81 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 10 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

0% rated 1–2★75%

Each mark is one company we hold in the Boulder City area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Solar Smart is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

I tried to call and I got a text "who is this". Wow, really? I texted back I'll go somewhere else and the reply was "good". RUN!

Saver energy and goods dual, otherwise nice services. I recommend to choose this company. The choice is you with benefits and values.

Great product, prompt service, great advice. Would recommend this company for anyone who is looking at solar, where they don’t understand the full details. Ricky will provide you with the complete details where you will understand the product and whole service. Communication, affordability and installation process sold us!

One month in - excellent so far Our roof is not ideal (varying angles, and some parts slightly west-facing), and of the companies I contacted Solar Smart was willing to work through the challenges. Consultation and installation were professional and I was assured the system would be viable. Now that I have a full month of billing data I am relieved to see the system is performing very well and will pay for itself in the timeframe I was hoping for. The app is very nice, too.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.

Something wrong here? Tell us and a person will read it.
