I am not at all satisfied with Solarroof NY! The installation was very poor and unclean, and their customer service was not good. If I had known this in advance I would never have used their services. Everyone avoid their services.

Please be aware: This company does not follow up or return calls as promised. My issue began when a squirrel damaged my solar panels by nesting underneath, chewing through roofing materials, and biting into wiring. I first called the company on Thursday to request repairs. The representative who answered, Izzy, was very knowledgeable and helpful. However, he explained that his department handled roofing, not solar panel removal, and that Alex from the solar panel department would call me later that afternoon. That call never came. I followed up by emailing the company and calling again. Izzy a

I’m pleased with the roofing work completed by Solaroof NY. The crew was organized, courteous, and attentive to the details of the project. Before the work started, they explained the process and made sure I understood what was involved. During the installation, they worked efficiently while maintaining a professional attitude. The completed roof has a clean appearance and has improved the overall look of my home. I also appreciated that the workers cleaned the area after finishing. My experience was straightforward and positive, and I’m glad I chose a company that took the time to complete th

Alex and the team did a great job! Full knowledge of my existing system, quick diagnosis and repair, and seamless coordination with the roof replacement. I am one of thousands on Long Island that the original Solar company went out of business and left us with nothing but issues. For the last 8 years we have experienced nothing but terrible customer service until finding Solaroof, NY. They solved my decade long issues of system production and roof leaks in 4 days! I cannot say enough on how Solaroof is so much more knowledgeable and competent beyond any other Long Island solar company!

Its website also mentions warranty and free estimate, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

• It posts on Facebook and Instagram. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

• —The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
• —We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
• —We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
