Its one and two star share is 6 points below the typical installer in South Carolina. Across South Carolina, 63 of the 101 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 9 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Brad was extremely helpful in my situation. He not only sympathized with me and my solar issue, he was able to walk me through the process and let me know how he was going to proceed to the next step if this step didn’t work. Top tier customer service! Very reasonable prices. Would highly recommend for all solar related issues. I will be calling him again if a problem should arise… thanks Brad and SOS Solar service.

Very fast getting back to us,..took less than an hr to assess and fix the issue. Customer for life.

I have used Brad many times for different solar system issues that I have had throughout the years, every time I have been more than satisfied with his knowledge and overall service. For this last service call I had him clean my solar panels on my roof (69 panels), they now look like new. Would definitely recommend Brad

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Years in business

“systems and energy savings. With over 10 years in the solar industry in the…”

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on Facebook and Instagram. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Easley is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
