    I have been trying for nearly a month to get help fixing a solar system that Summit Solar installed. It is still under warranty. The fact that they don't have a customer service phone line and are impossible to reach by phone is a huge red flag that their customer service is bad. Through my email exchanges, they cannot even point me in the direction of someone who can help me, and after multiple phone calls and hours of trying, I find myself being told that I have to spend $850 to hire someone just to tell me what is wrong with a system that is still under warranty.     BUYER BEWARE! They will do everything to get your money but when there is an issue they will send you to a third party. The third party and Summit will not return calls or emails. After a few months they will advise you that third party no longer services your area and refers you to ANOTHER third party. After months of no contact, That third party will finally make contact and tell you will charge you almost $1000 to travel to fix your system. They will tell you that part is free but you have to pay the $1000 because you are over 2 hours away. My system has not worked since August and I still

    Probably the worst solar company in existence. Having tons of issues with my system, they can’t properly diagnose the problem and are trying to charge me multiple times to fix the issue. There are better, more reputable companies out there.

    Summit Solar is a great company to use for any solar work you are planning. Bob Arnett (@BobArnett) is their Senior Energy Consultant I dealt with on our project. Bob explained how the energy offset worked along with any federal and state rebates available. Once we decided to move forward with the project, we were assigned a Summit Solar project lead who scheduled all of the installation and inspections. The installation crew was awesome. They came up with creative ways to hide wiring and piping resulting in a nice clean job. Installation was completed in August 2019 and to date we have saved

    Our entire experience with Summit Solar (from research to installation to after sales follow through) was absolutely terrific. The company representatives are knowledgeable, competent, and professional. The sales rep answered ALL our questions and addressed our reservations. The office staff (Sara) and the rest were prompt and accurate in their responses. The installation was flawless.
