Unfortunately These folks have a liar that works for them. After speaking with a representative for half an hour about the system we would like and he happily explained all the pros and cons. Then he told us that he would call us back. Nope, no call. So, when I called them back, I was informed that they would NOT give us the "FREE consultation" because we are with French Broad Electric Co-op and for that reason they would not do business with us. You have been warned.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I called them months in advance to schedule rewiring of a solar system they installed for us. I had to follow up several times and spoke with many different staff and even their head electrician to get a date locked down. Every time I called they said it was an easy job and I should get a call back in 48 hours. I was never called back and now two months later they finally admit that they have no one available and don't know when the work will be done.

Worst solar installer in WNC. My first solar install was riddled with problems, and the amazingly arrogant "CEO" Dave Hollister refused to acknowledge or take responsibility. More than a month's delay in project start, two months delay in project completion, poor design of system install and inefficient routing of roof conduit, failure to record position of modules resulting in monitoring system displaying incorrect placement, followed by complete failure of all inverters and a demand from Sundance that I pay more to have them replaced, even though under warranty. Don't give these loosers your

Well I was so happy that Sundance finally scheduled us for our long awaited Solar Edge inverter replacement. Johnathan and Alex did a great and efficient job. They brought the correct mounting bracket and were done within an hour. Our inverter had failed back in March after 9 years of operation. But, I had not noticed a problem when I checked my monitoring readings until April. I then realized that the readings were in WH not KWH because our electric bill was much higher than usual. We had lost a month of generation by that time. A Sundance tech came out in May and by mid June the replacement

We've used Sundance before. They're trustworthy and helpful. Jordan helped us with a pump replacement for our radiant floor system and a boiler tune-up. He was great—communicative and knowledgeable.

We cannot recommend Sundance Power Systems enough! They are extremely professional, reliable, and care about the quality of their work. Our service tech, Jordan, was amazing. We had an existing older radiant floor heating system in a house we purchased. I didn't know the first thing about what to do or how to maintain it. Jordan took his time, walked me through everything about the system, answered all of my questions (and trust me, I had a lot) and helped us get it back up and running in a manner we could trust! Their front office was also very courteous, helpful and timely in helping us get

Jordan and Sean spent a little more than 3.5 hr (including setting up and returning our 46 panels back to running) cleaning our 7yo solar panels. They made the process as efficient and smooth as possible. As always, Sundance has very capable and personable people working to keep our system working well and the owners happy!

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.
What we don't know
- The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
- We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
- We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
