Its one and two star share is 1 point above the typical installer in Arkansas. Across Arkansas, 15 of the 34 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 23 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY Left a 1 star bc ya can’t go with zero. We are 1.5 years into trying to get a working system. Nothing but issues over and over again. 1st.. we had a salesman mislead us on just about everything. From being able to setup a system to go off-grid, which now they say they’ve never don’t that. Salesman also said we’d get the solar tax rebate that we could apply to the loan and keep our payments lower, lie #2. It took a bad review to get anything noticed when the solar system wasn’t working, wasn’t doing anything for a month or better. 2nd.. they install a system, EG4 out of

Not sure how they have maintained a 5 star rating. The installation team is great however the back office is less than spectacular. Mediocre follow-up and closing out engagement.

Very happy with how our system turned out. If you're thinking about going solar, Sunrise Solar is the company to use.

We are thrilled working with Sunrise Solar to get our system installed! We always assumed solar was too expensive and out of reach for us, but Andrew helped us to qualify for zero down financing with low monthly payments and was so helpful by explaining the entire process and answering all of our questions. We highly recommend them!

As far as I can tell these guys are the most honest solar company in the state. I shopped around and everyone else was more concerned with selling overpriced solutions or crap you want than answering technical questions. I've recommended them to friends and family and have had good experiences.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Years in business

“states alike. Founded by a team with over 15 years of residential solar experience, we…”

Its website also mentions free estimate, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on Instagram and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.

Something wrong here? Tell us and a person will read it.
