Awful company. Don't use unless you want to be ghosted when it stops working. 1 star is still too generous

There was a Sales person from SunRun going around our neighborhood in Camarillo. He was extremely rude and aggressive. He did not like the fact that our electricity bill was only $100. I told him it didn’t make any financial sense for us to get solar panels at the moment and he got angry.

Haven't even done business with this company. Several people in my surrounding neighborhood have, but these guys have ZERO manners on the road and off. I live on a fairly busy corner, and have experienced this for myself. Once their techs get close to their destination, they arent paying attention to anything but their phone or tablet. I've seen several people almost lose their pets or cars because these jerks can't be bothered to care or pay attention while behind the wheel. I will never do business with a company that treats their community with such disrespect.

The install of the panels went well. We had a leak and they fixed it promptly. Now, after going through the 12 month cycle we had a disappointing surprise via Edison. We saw the amount we were earning in credit through the 12 month process. Then suddenly the amount was cut by more than half. The explanation from Edison was they buy it at a lower price. This was not what was explained to us by Sunrun. We were told we buy from Edison at the lowest rate per kwh and when we overproduce we sell at the highest rate. It seemed by Edison the credit was in that ballpark. Then after the 12 months were u

Great experience. Ryan came to my door wanting to explain/offer a new flex ppa program. I agreed to set up another meeting to learn more as my sce bill keeps going up and it seems summers are getting hotter. Ryan showed expertise and professionalism as he went over the different options for solar even beyond what just Sunrun offers. Afterwards I did some more research and confirmed that everything Ryan had explained was true. In the end I am waiting on some life events to pass before I add solar, but I was pleasantly surprised with this experience and would recommend anyone to set up a meeting

Max was our rep and still is our rep. He has been with us from start to finish and made the whole process 100x smoother. Even when you have to talk to AI, Max is there to explain everything and answer every question. The process got bumpy and max was able to smooth it out with a simple text. I highly recommend working with max and the sunrun team. You’re in great hands with Max.

Max is one of the best Salesman I have had the pleasure of meeting, he's very knowledgeable in the Solar Field. Max was there every step of the way. Always ready to answer all questions. The installation of the panels and Tesla batteries was smooth and swift. It was Impressive. Max helped me with the processing of my rebate through Tesla. Max is a very polite and professional Salesman. If I could give 10 stars I would. Thank you for all your hard work Max. ✌️☺️

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on Pinterest, X, LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
