Its one and two star share is 27 points above the typical installer in Massachusetts. Across Massachusetts, 23 of the 198 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 21 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

What reviewers said

They unprofessional use different people come to knock my door everyday even I told I don’t want their service.

Unacceptablely aggressive solicitation. Showed up at my house (at 6pm) and pretended to be a friend of my neighbor to get me talking. Then hit me with a sales pitch and tried to pry info out of me all while saying it wasn't a sales pitch but an opportunity but "you might not even qualify. Should we find out?" Absolutely awful.

Had a rep show up at my house unannounced in the dark , didn't introduce himself , show any i d and expected me to answer questions about my electric bill? Completely unacceptable !!! I absolutely would not recommend this company for solar

Excellent experience. My rep Matt W was on top of everything, updating me constantly on the steps and the process. Never had to worry about a thing. The installers were awesome, and they just installed it today. Would highly recommend Sunrun over all the competitors. My other neighbors used other company’s and I heard a few nightmare stories. But Sunrun was incredible. By far the best option for solar in our area. Richard

It was a pleasure to work with Matthew Waters he made my experience easy. Matthew was very professional and patient with all of my questions. I highly recommend Matthew Waters as a representative of Sunrun.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
