Its one and two star share is 4 points above the typical installer in the Santa Rosa area. Across California, 621 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 48 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Every company we hold in the Santa Rosa area, on one axis

0% rated 1–2★25%

Each mark is one company we hold in the Santa Rosa area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Synergy Solar & Electrical Systems Inc. is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

They will not return your calls if you have issues with the work that they did

Customer service sucks! I have been calling, emailing for weeks and have received no response. They say they'll return your call within 24 hrs. Over 2 weeks, nothing. Don't use the company!

Top notch! Justin, Peter, Raven and Andrew did a great job with a great attitude, stepping up to troubleshoot some unexpected problems with our internal house wiring. Much appreciated!

Mike and his team installed a regular solar system for me at the start of the year and then upgraded to a backup solar system in December. I am extremely pleased with both installations and found Mike to be very knowledgeable and his team was very professional. I highly recommend Synergy Solar for any solar needs!

My husband and I have installed solar in a previous city and when relocating to our current home, installing solar was a no brainer. Our contractor recommended Synergy Solar and we’re extremely happy with the entire process. The proposal and timeline were in line with our expectations. We pulled the trigger, left town and returned home with the solar array and backup battery and even our car charger ready for PG&E to do what they need to make it all live. We highly recommend Synergy Solar! Thanks, Mike and crew!

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
