The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 24 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

While the purchase and installation process was handled completely by the Tesla associates, that is where the support ended. I've been left on my own to figure out how to get the battery wall to start up the battery wall and to get the system to operate as it should be designed. Post install support has failed.

Costumer service is terrible. Long wait times over an hour in some cases, 1/2 hour is average. Once you get a human and you "accidentally" get cut off you have to go through the whole waiting process again. No costumer service here and they don't care. They don't return calls. This is a horrible company that once you purchase something they don't care about you any more never did. The only time you will be contacted is if you don't make a payment then they care about you. Best way I see to avoid this company wide problem is to, NOT MAKE A PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY AT ALL!

I am beyond frustrated with Tesla Energy. They installed a premium Solar Roof and THREE Powerwalls at my house, but incredibly left the entire system running on an inadequate 100-amp service. Anyone with basic electrical knowledge knows that three Powerwalls, three AC units, and an EV charger running at the same time will completely max out a 100-amp panel. Because of Tesla's massive system design oversight, my main breaker constantly trips under normal everyday loads. When the tripping first started, I reached out to both Tesla and VSP (who installed my Tesla Wall Connector). The products are excellent. Installation was very good but communications are horrible. They make it next to impossible to talk with someone in customer service. The refuse to let you talk with leadership if you have issues not evolved by the staff you manage to communicate with.

The Tesla team that installed our solar set up did an excellent job. They set up the space for safety. Were timely and personable. The electrician set up his tents for doing his work, explained what he was doing and gave instructions for operating the system. Everyone was courteous and the team left the space with no sign they were even there. We are very pleased with the whole installation experience. Jay an Barbara Chatzkel

Powerwall installers did a great job. Fast, clean, and communicated really well. Could not have been a better experience.

Overall, a positive experience. The Tesla HOA team is a little slow which caused the install to slip to the middle of summer (in AZ). Very happy with my project manager, Zier M & the PHX coordinator, David Sands. Great hand-holding, communication, & pushing on the Tesla side.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
