Its one and two star share is 17 points above the typical installer in the Laveen area. Across Arizona, 13 of the 269 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 6 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Every company we hold in the Laveen area, on one axis

0% rated 1–2★55%

Each mark is one company we hold in the Laveen area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Powers Solar Frames is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

These are the hardest people to work with. Customer service is just not there. Every time I called or sent and email they acted like it was a big inconvenience to talk to you. They only accept cash or wire transfer. I ordered 30 degree tilt and received 60 degree.

Power Solar Frames is extremely difficult to work with they demand 50% up front no matter how much business you have done with them or length of business relationship. They will also threaten to delay your order and hold your order hostage unless you wire transfer them money on the day they want it. Customer service and attitude from Steve Jones is down right right and pompous. I would never work with them!

I Purchased Engineering, Design, and all the steel to build my Solar carport frame, creating 4 covered parking spots and enough roof to hold 26 panels. The project was made very easy by the whole team at POWERS STEEL. I rented a large trailer in Southern California and drove to the facility early in the morning. They loaded up everything on my trailer and I was on my way. Everyone there was extremely kind and efficient. I am very very thankful they helped me achieve my dual goal of a carport and solar roof detached from the main house.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
