    I’ve been very happy with my Tesla Solar system overall, but I’m hoping Tesla can improve the customer support experience. My system is only about 2 months old and recently experienced a significant drop in solar production. I’ve contacted support multiple times, including phone and chat. Remote diagnostics have not identified the issue, and the case has now been escalated to Tier 2. The frustrating part is not that a technical issue occurred — these things happen. It’s how difficult and slow it has been to reach the right team, get a consistent update, and keep the support case moving. I’ve h

    The whole process was very stressful due to the lack of communication from the project advisor. Also there is a big disconnect between the advisors and the field staff. I got mixed information between both the field and the project advisors that delayed the project by almost 3 weeks to finish. It seemed like I always had to take initiative to ask otherwise nothing was going to be communicated. I actually ended up asking for a different advisor which they did provide but regardless communication was still an issue.

    I did not save money on the solar system as told. My electric bill is around $150 a month after the installation as compare to $200 a month prior. Not a worth investment.

    The product is very competitive from a price perspective, but the ownership experience has much to improve. Customer service is often hard to work with making it a cumbersome process to resolve issues and it seems there's a high probability those may arise. I had a Tesla solar system installed with two powerwalls back in 2023. Over the initial 2 years since the install I've had both of my inverters fail twice each and require replacement. The process to get them replaced took over a month each time, in one instance the higher level support refused to approve a replacement of one inverter despi

    Being able to have my family (cats included) enjoy A/C all day without the worry of a high bill is amazing! The solar team instillation was smooth and very friendly! They explained what was going to happen, ensuring all parties were aligned, and communicated any deviations. The person assigned to my project was very friendly and helpful in answering questions in a timely manner. Overall, I'm so happy I chose to get Solar with my Powerwall! It's dropped my energy bill tremendously and has allowed me a piece of mind in keeping my family comfortable in hot or cold days.
