Its one and two star share is level with the typical installer in California. Across California, 756 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 84 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Beware of companies that don’t have any bad reviews. If you look at the reviews, they’re all five star that should say something about them. They’re not posting the people that were unhappy. All I have to say is beware.

They are fantastic to work with from start to finish. Communication with them is great. They either answer the phone or get back to you right away. They show up on time and do great work. The whole process from quote to installation went smooth. Top notch recommendations to anyone looking to go solar. This is my second solar installation with them and won’t go anywhere else if I have another need.

We recently completed a new solar install with Select Solar and we are VERY happy with the entire experience. Everyone at Solar Select, and most especially Justin & Kymberly, were incredibly helpful when we had questions about any step in the process. We highly recommend Select Solar!!

Select Solar Pros assisted us with our solar panel installation several years ago and we are very pleased with the result. They helped us with the utility company agreement, procurement of financing and identified an excellent installation contractor to complete the project. The system continues to operate very well and we are grateful for their excellent work.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
