Its one and two star share is 1 point below the typical installer in Virginia Beach. Across Virginia, 46 of the 118 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 57 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

We recently had the opportunity to work alongside Trident Solar on a roofing project for one of their clients, and the experience was great from start to finish. Their team communicated well, kept everyone on the same page, and made the coordination between the solar and roofing work easy for the homeowner. We truly appreciate Trident Solar trusting Modern Day Roofing with their client for the roof replacement. We look forward to working together on more projects!

Review for Ken Ashcom (Trident Solar) and Emma Sanchez (Best Home Solutions) Ken has been working with me for over a year now to help get us set up with Solar Panels. He has been very patient and great to work with. Once we were able to start the work, he was there every step of the way. Ken brought Emma Sanchez (Best Home Solution) in as the contractor for the roof, siding and some repair that were necessary for the siding. Emmaleigh has been a great contractor and has worked with us every step of the way. Emma has a very versatile company. The best thing I liked about the experience I had wi

We are very pleased with our installation on all fronts. Ben the electrician, is very knowledgeable and professional. His neatness in the electrical panel is phenomenal. His crew was swift with the installation, carefully installed. Their mannerism was polite and a joy to have on our property. The other electrician with Ben was as professional and knowledgeable as He was. Dana the representative, was professional and answered all our questions and concerns. Eveytime we had text him with a question he was ontop with answers. We are beyond happy with the outcome. We have already recommended your

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Veteran owned

“asked for more! They are a local, veteran-owned company that we would highly…”

  • Years in business

“D. I’ve been a home owner for over 30 years and this was the best home…”

Its website also mentions warranty, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
