Its one and two star share is 2 points above the typical installer in California. Across California, 692 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 39 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

The AI ad videos make your company look like a joke. If you want to make your company look legit, make an honest advertisement.

TSP gave me such a competitive quote and worked with me for all of the work I needed done in my house. I had a hazardous main panel (Zinsco) that insurance denied me for, and a leaking roof. TSP gave me a combined quote for a huge solar array, main service upgrade from 100A to 200A, battery storage, roof repair, and a brand new main panel. I was able to get home insurance again and the total cost came in 15k cheaper than my next cheapest quote. The work looks immaculate and the wiring job is beautiful.

We are repeat customers of Mario and his team. This means that we trust and value the quality of work they do. This time, Mario and his team helped us with cleaning our gutters. His workers are very courteous, respectful and friendly. They took before and after pictures. We are very satisfied with the job that they've done. We highly recommend them for all your roofing (or any other) needs. Thanks again Mario and the team!

Firstly, they installed a new solar inverter when the solar company gave me the run around for months! They fixed it in a day and saved me hundreds a month! Once I was ready, yesterday and today they replaced 15 broken tiles on my roof and fixed some interior wall water damage from a leak! Can’t tell anything was repaired and painted. Like new! PERFECT SERVICE! Clean and tidy work! Very fair pricing! Fast service! Seamless communication! Can’t speak highly enough about TSP!

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Financing

“your hard-earned cash. We offer easy financing options so you can start your project right…”

  • Warranty

“to make repairs under manufacturers' warranty claims for other orphaned solar…”

  • Insured

“our team of experienced professionals—insured, trained, and dedicated—we can…”

  • Licensed

“needs and deliver tailored solutions. Licensed and Insured: TSP Roofing & Solar is…”

Its website also mentions free estimate and 24/7 availability, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • Google also lists this company under electrical, gutters, insulation, paving and roofing. A company that does both roofing and solar can handle the roof work a panel install often needs.
  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau and Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on Instagram and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
