    The sales & installation teams did a great job. But you better hope nothing goes wrong with your panels after installation, because the service department is exceptionally difficult. We've had our panels for 9 months now, and they've only been fully functional about 6 of those months. Trying to get someone to troubleshoot & repair problems is nearly impossible. Welcome to the sunniest days of the year, well too bad we're sitting at 50% production with no restoration in sight. Not recommended.

    This is how they communicate with customers, "Gatsby Bodnar 2:26 PM (18 minutes ago) to me Dilum, I get the sense that you might use our cost to compare against other bids. We're never the lowest cost. Typically a lease is about $20-$30 less than the existing electricity bill. " If the claims they are not the lowest why is he worried about comparing with other bids? Terrible way of doing business!

    YellowLite is topnotch when it comes to the process and install of a solar array. Professional, well done installation. Array itself is working great. HOWEVER, the promise of battery back up is non existent. I've been waiting 4 YEARS for battery backup to be installed at my house. YellowLite encouraged using Tesla backup battery as being the best on the market. Tesla gave me the run around for 2yrs before I asked for my deposit back. Then it took 1yr to find out YellowLite supposedly installs Tesla, and now another year of run around waiting for YellowLite to install Tesla powerwalls. NOW I se

    YellowLite installed 15 solar panels for our home in November of 2025. Everyone gave me good technical advice and answered all of my questions. The installation team did a very good job installing the panels and the techs were able to get Ohio Edison to come out in December to install a new electric meter. My electric bill was supposed to drop by 49%, but it looks like it's going to be much more that. My billing statement this month said my next month payment amount adjusted to match my actual usage will be $42.00. Last August 2025 my July usage bill was $439.16. This amount was double my usua

    My PV system was installed 19 years ago by Dovetail Solar and Wind. When First Energy changed out my old meter for a Smart meter this year, it became apparent First Energy lost my interconnection and net metering application 19 years ago, so my grid-tied array was suddenly offline until all the permits could be re-applied for and approved. I saw on Google that Yellowlite was providing service for legacy Dovetail clients, so I called. Paul at Yellowlite put me through to Zain, who handles interconnections with First Energy.
