Its one and two star share is 2 points below the typical installer in Maine. Across Maine, 24 of the 43 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 8 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in Maine whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Advanced Energy Products is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

I have been using Rene & Heidi for years. Whether I have heating asst or cash. I even had to call the day after Christmas 🫣 he was here in hours. …

Prompt, friendly service. Sleep so much better not thinking about filling the woodstove in the middle of the night. Thanks Renee

Running a non-profit dog rescue has its challenges, add to that the brutal Maine winters, heat is 100% a priority for the kennels. Rene and Heidi go above and beyond, not just to be friendly, reliable, honest, trustworthy and beyond fair with their prices, but helpful and the best part, they are huge animal lovers. They have the rescue on a regular schedule, but if I am running low sooner, a quick phone call and they schedule me the next available time. The dogs love it when Rene comes as they get lots of attention and fuss. It is important that people support the small business's, keeping mon

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
