Advanced Power USA

Every company we hold in Illinois whose Google breakdown has been read, grouped by their share of one and two star reviews. Advanced Power USA is in the highlighted group.

Great people to work with from start to finish. Would definitely recommend for solar installs!

Advanced Power USA went above and beyond. They showed me several options, including free options like community solar. Ultimately I decided to go with panels and battery backup. Unlike other estimates and companies I talked to, Robert and Kevin with Advanced Power educated me on every option available. They did not pressure me to go one way. Their pricing is great also. I had 5 quotes and they were the best solar company by far.

Advanced Power USA provided a complete and cost effective plan to add solar energy to our residence. The representative was prompt and professional. He answered all our questions and concerns politely without the hard sell typical of some salesmen. I also like the fact that the company is local. When we decide to make the change, Advanced Power will be our first choice!

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

• Warranty

“Equipment Protection Solar-panel warranty options of up to 25 years may be…”

Its website also mentions free estimate and better business bureau, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

• It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau and Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
• It posts on Instagram, X and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

• —The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
• —We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
• —We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
