Its one and two star share is 2 points below the typical installer in the San Francisco area. Across California, 543 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 33 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in the San Francisco area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Ally Electric And Solar Inc is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

Got a bid from these folks and their contract- which their sales person Oliver Canbazoglu called "a template for the basic info" when I questioned them about how it released them from any responsibility including output production. I asked them to send me a real contract. They never got back to me- 13 days later, still nothing!!! Do not trust these folks!!! Shady contract!!!

Metin and his crew at Ally Solar & Electric has just completed a second solar project for us, including solar back-up batteries and an EV charging station. They were a pleasure to work with as well as very competent and responsive/communicative throughout the project. I highly recommend them.

Ally Electric and Solar installed 17 solar panels on our roof 18 months ago. The installation team was very efficient and respectful of our home. Metin and Nur were excellent communicators. We would not hesitate to recommend them to potential customers.

I recently hired Ally Electric and Solar to extend the wiring from my main panel to my EV charging point, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. After getting four other quotes, the other solutions I received were well-intentioned but complicated and expensive. Ally Electric and Solar came in with a straightforward solution that simply worked, at a fraction of the price of other bids. That alone set them apart. From start to finish, they were punctual, communicative, and professional. The job was completed quickly, they left the space cleaner than they found it, and they even took care

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Established

“been saving on their electricity bill since 2016 BATTERY Our battery solutions…”

  • Better Business Bureau

“the seal they issue you. --> REPLACE: BBB Accredited official seal 855 Marina Bay Pkwy,…”

Its website also mentions free estimate, licensed and licence number, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • Google also lists this company under electrical.
  • It posts on Instagram, YouTube and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
