Its one and two star share is 1 point below the typical installer in Medford. Across Oregon, 55 of the 106 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 15 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

We had a GREAT experience with AES and Seaira and Jesse. They truly HUSTLED to complete our large project by the end of the calendar year, to ensure we qualified for the expiring Federal tax credit. They kept us informed and assisted with the OR solar rebate paperwork, and they did a great rooftop installation. We were thrilled with the results! I would highly recommend them to anyone seeking an exemplary solar contractor!

Alternative Energy Systems has installed two solar systems for us. The first one was in 2013 and our experience was fantastic. Seaira and Jesse are hardworking, great at communication, and above all honest! They will work with you to find a solar solution that fits your needs and your budget. Both projects were completed on time and right on budget. When it came time to install a system on our new house, I didn't even consider working with anyone else, these guys are the best. The second system was installed last September and it's working flawlessly. We give AES our highest recommendation.

Alternative Energy Systems have installed for us two solar systems for two different properties. One was last year and the one before that in 2011. We couldn't be happier with our systems and their response to any problems we had along the way, which were few, was prompt and appreciated. Our first system has saved us a lot of money in electricity usage as we usually only have to pay the nominal monthly fee of $18.00. Alternative Energy Systems Inc and their products are outstanding.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Medford is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
