Its one and two star share is 1 point below the typical installer in the Medford area. Across Oregon, 55 of the 106 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 68 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Ordered by the share of one and two star reviews, weighted by how many reviews stand behind it. It ranks review records, not workmanship.

Process went exactly as described. Work was done quickly. Quality of work was very good. Scott and team answered all my questions. My bills are already on the way down, it’s fun to see power going back to the grid. Very satisfied.

Excellent process from start to finish. Quality, communication, service all top-notch, and each member of the team is a pleasure to work with. I’m very discriminating and highly recommend Sunshine Solar.

What an incredible company! We did our research and talked to a number of other companies in the area, but no one came in with as much knowledge, fair pricing, high-quality equipment, and fast timelines as Sunshine Solar. We did panels + battery at our Jacksonville home, and they made sure we really understood how our solar system would work, and didn't try to pressure us into upgrades or buying more than we needed at all. Like others have said, we got contracts from other companies and there were some very real bad-faith provisions included -- payment upfront before the system was installed,

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Warranty

“them. Do solar installations have a warranty? Yes, our solar panels come with a 25…”

  • Licensed

“experience, we are the original fully licensed brick and mortar shop in Grants Pass…”

Its website also mentions free estimate and better business bureau, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
